First-day-screening event of new movie "Ankoku Joshi"

The first-day-screening event of new movie "Ankoku Joshi" was held at Shinjuku Wald 9 on 1 April which was attended by the director Yakumo Saiji and cast members Iitoyo Marie, Seino Nana, Taira Yuna, Tamashiro Tina, Kojima Riria and Chiba Yuudai. The movie's other lead Shimizu Fumika was absent as she had announced her retirement from showbiz in February 2017 which had led to speculation over as to whether the movie could be screened as scheduled.

Yakumo prepared a letter addressed to the cast where he expressed thanks to them for their hard work which made Iitoyo cry as she revealed the insecurities she had during this period. Even though she had expected to be able to depend on Shimizu since they were co-leads, she had to do the PR for the movie alone now and doubted if she could take up this heavy responsibility. Nonetheless, she resolved to work hard and expressed her joy to be able to work with the staff and her co-stars in this movie.

Another accident happened before the movie as Iitoyo was caught in a traffic jam after completing another event for the movie at Musashimurayama and couldn't make it to the event on time. As such, Taira and Chiba had to go onto the stage and speak to the audience for a while until Iitoyo arrived 6 minutes later.

It was also announced during the event that the movie will be screened in Taiwan.
