Update to the Spring 2012 ratings race - 15 June 12

Here are the figures for dramas shown during the weekdays:

Kagi no kakatta heya Ep 9 - 16.0%
Hanchou 5 Ep 10 - 12.4%
Legal High Ep 9 - 12.8%
37-sai de Isha ni Natta Boku Ep 10 - 11.2%
Answer Ep 9 (final) - 8.4%
Kaeru no Oujosama Ep 10 - 8.8%
W no Higeki Ep 8 (final) - 9.4%
Papadoru! Ep 8 - 6.7%

Kagi rises again to reach the 16% mark which signifies that the upcoming episode of ATARU is going to see a fall in its rating? Coincidentally, whenever Kagi sees a rise, ATARU's numbers tumble and vice versa. Moreover, given that ATARU had a high of 17.1% last Sunday, it will be tough to exceed that figure unless there's a strong push factor.

Legal High falls from two consecutive episodes in the 14% region to the 12% which is still higher than any of its episodes in the first half of the season. 37-sai rises by 1% but it's still a distance away from its usual 13% range in the first half of the season. From the 7th episode onwards, 37-sai has seen a roller-coaster trend in its ratings from 12.5% -> 14% -> 10.2% -> 11.2%. This could probably mean that its core viewership base seems to be venturing elsewhere.

Answer finishes its run with an average of 9.42% which is still lower than Toshi Densetsu no Onna's 9.73%. Looks like the latter is more-or-less confirmed to be the leader of the pack when it comes to the below-10% dramas. W no Higeki has also bowed out with its 3rd highest rating this season and scores an average of 9.04%.

Papadoru! registers its worst rating so far this season for its 8th episode. I've watched the first episode and can't really say that I like it. Will talk more about this when I post my review.
