Actress Kawashima Umika has managed to qualify for Meiji University as reported on 28 Feb. The university has had the highest number of applicants nationwide for three years in a row thus making it one of the most difficult schools to enter. Last year, Kawashima appeared in three dramas and the movie "Kaibutsu-kun" along with being part of a five-member group 9nine. Nonetheless, she still managed to spend time on her studies and even went for tuition during her free time. Her last photobook and DVD as a senior high school student "Umikaze" will be released on 28 Mar before she enters university in April.
