Rihwa to sing the theme song for new movie "Yurigokoro"

Rihwa will be singing the theme song for new movie "Yurigokoro" starring Yoshitaka Yuriko which will be shown in cinemas from 23 September. This will be her first theme song for a movie.

The song titled "Michishirube" is a ballad which incorporates the sounds of a grand piano and string instruments and will be released in September. Rihwa commented that the song is written with the image of a person who is on a small boat in the middle of the sea at night and surrounded by darkness. This is to signify how people may not get what they desire even if they love someone deeply and can end up being so lonely that nobody can understand what they are going through. To mark her 5th anniversary since her debut, Rihwa cut her hair short for an image change.

Rihwa underwent a surgery in February this year to remove a vocal cord polyp and recuperated for three months before making her comeback.
