May J. will be singing the theme song for TBS summer 2014 drama "Dousousei ~ Hito wa, sando, koi wo suru" which is due to begin its frun from 10 July at 9pm on Thursdays. The song titled "Hontou no Koi" (True Love) will be released as a single on 13 August and is written from the viewpoint of the drama's heroine. Initially, the plan was to have a full orchestra to play the music but it was later decided to simplify the arrangement to just a piano playing in the background so as to convey the delicate emotions in this ballad.
